Look Book
by Petite Ocotillo
Ideally, I’ll be writing for a design magazine or website out there someday, or even more ideally, taking on the role of a creative director for said magazine or website. Grace Coddington, Creative Director of Vogue, is a major source of inspiration for my creative directorial goals, and seeing as she also has a lovely new memoir out, she has also inspired me to think of the ideal sponsor for my creative goals.
I would absolutely love it if a publishing or printing company chose to sponsor me in my endeavors.
Also, it would be a dream to have the ultimate hook-up for every kind of book you can imagine.
Above are a couple nifty shelves where I plan on keeping this wonderous book collection.

Those shelves are awesome! I especially like the first image. I love your blog name too
I absolutely adore these book shelves. I love reading too and own so many books that i’ve encountered issues finding places for all of them to fit. I know so many people have moved to the digital world with Kindles and iPads but I’m still old school and prefer actual printed books.
I particularly love the shelf along the staircase. I can just imagine it filled cool objects and old books, leading you up into the perfect, open and bright creative space. With inspiration like that, you could go anywhere.
Wow what a cool idea! and ideas for designs! I have never known anyone that wanted to do that profession that is so cool! I am obsessed with bookshelves. I cant wait to see more of your posts!.
Wood is such a classic and timeless medium and has the ability to add class and substance the to design. the geometry and repetition is very Gestalt.
It is so great how you love to design the things that bring you joy in life. Now ever though i am not a big reader, I still think that books are a really beautiful thing to put up on the shelf. Very cool and clean idea!
